The Milford Masonic Lodge hosts “Cincinnati Sports Tri-Fecta” and “Public Leaders” chili cook off

Chili cook at the Milford Masonic Lounge set for Saturday.

On Saturday, the Milford Masonic Lodge, American Legion, Kiwanis Club and the City of Milford will compete and present to the public a “Cincinnati Sports Tri-Fecta” and “Public Leaders” all you can eat chili cook off.Public leaders such as Secretary of State Frank LaRose, Rep. Jean Schmidt, Commissioner Dave Painter and others will be searching, and properly certifying the ballots for the best chili.Cincinnati sports figures Robert Jackson, Dave Wilkins, Larry Marsh, along with Jimmy Dollard from FC Cincinnati, Patti Collins and Mr. Action from the Action Foundation and Mike Castrucci will be among the 20 chili judges who will select the best from more than 40 pots of chili in this fourth annual First Responder’s Community Outreach Program Benefit.Karin Johnson from WLWT and Brian Thomas from WKRC radio will be the MC’s for the eventAlong with these state and local leaders, legends and friends there will be thousands of dollars in silent auction and door prizes available. Finally, for only $10, all-you-can-eat chili, salad, desert and soft drinks are available. This chili event will most certainly warm the chilly weather.The event will take place at 450 Victor Stier Dr., in Milford. Judging begins at 3 p.m., with public serving happening between 4 and 10 p.m.Adults cost of admission is $10 with children between ages 6 and 12 set at $5. All children under 6 years of age are able to attend for no charge.
