- CSP’s quest for a record-tying 10th National VB Title came up just short as they dropped a hard-fought four-setter to the Lady Buffs. Concordia fell to 9-2 in the National Title match, suffering their 1st loss in the Elite Eight field since 2006 (they had won 29-straight). Concordia came into the contest 3-0 v. West TX A&M all-time, having knocked them off in the National Title match in 2009 (3-0). This time, too many service errors & some serve/receive issues hurt CSP. Teagan Starkey, Jasmine Mulvihill, and Emma Schmidt took home All-Tourney Team awards. This is the 5th National VB Title for West TX A&M, and their 1st since ’97.
