The Chicago Blackhawks (6-5-3) return home from a three-game road trip Monday night, to host the Carolina Hurricanes (9-5-1). Defenseman Jarred Tinordi scored two goals for the Blackhawks in that game, his first two goals of the year. Left wing Max Domi and right win Patrick Kane both had two assists each. With those two assists, Kane now leads the Blackhawks with 12 points on the year. Domi and center Jonathan Toews are behind him with 10 points a piece. Toews leads the team with seven goals.

The Hurricanes were also on the road in their last game, falling 4-1 to the defending Stanley Cup Champion Colorado Avalanche. Before that, the ‘Canes lit up the scoreboard against the Edmonton Oilers in a 7-2 win late last week.
Center Martin Necas leads the Hurricanes with 19 points in 15 games. Forwards Andrei Svechnikov and Sebastian Aho are also ahead of a point-per-game pace – both have 17 points so far this year.
